Sister Maureen Bernius, S.C., formerly Sister Maureen de Paul, a Sister of Charity-Halifax for 58 years, died on Feb. 3 at Elizabeth Seton Residence, Wellesley Hills, Mass. She was 78.

Sister Leonard Marie Lichinchi, C.S.J., a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph for 76 years, died on Feb. 28 while she was in hospice care at Sacred Heart Convent in Hempstead, L.I.

Sister Josephine Rooney, R.S.H.M., a member of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary for 76 years, who ministered in St. Anne’s Parish in Flushing for 26 years, died on Feb. 23. She was 87.

Sister Jean Ruth Gregor, O.P., a member of the Sisters of St. Dominic of Amityville for 64 years, died on Feb. 20. She was 88.

Sister Claire Theresa Dill, S.C., a member of the Sisters of Charity-Halifax for 73 years, died on Jan. 30 at Elizabeth Seton Residence in Wellesley Hills, Mass. She was 92.

Sister Ann Whalen, S.C., a member of the Sisters of Charity-Halifax for 57 years, died on Nov. 28 at Caritas Residence in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She was 84.

Sister Anne Marie Barry, S.C., a member of the Sisters of Charity-Halifax for 63 years, died Oct. 26 at Elizabeth Seton Residence in Wellesley Hills, Mass. She was 82.

Sister Rosemary Monica Remeschatis, C.S.J., a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph, Brentwood, for 70 years, died Jan. 28 at Maria Regina Residence in Brentwood,

Sister Patricia Taylor, C.S.J., a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph, Brentwood, for 50 years, died Jan. 19 at Maria Regina Residence in Brentwood, L.I.

Sister Patricia Anne Perry, C.S.J., a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph, Brentwood, for 72 years, died Feb. 4 at St. Joseph Covent in Brentwood, L.I.
