John Woods, who coached varsity basketball and baseball at Xaverian H.S., Bay Ridge, for 38 years, died on Feb. 1 at the age of 84. He was a member of the Xaverian and CHSAA Halls of Fame.
St. Francis Terriers Retire No. 19 Jersey of Al Inniss
The St. Francis College men’s basketball team honored the great Al Inniss by retiring his No. 19 jersey during halftime of a game earlier this season.
