Brooklyn Knights Deliver Hope to Florence Victims

Before the day ended Oct. 2, a caravan of men traveled more than 500 miles south of the Brooklyn border to drop-off thousands of pounds of relief and recovery supplies for those affected by tropical storm Florence in North Carolina. Except instead of representing the organization with the familiar logo of a red cross, these men will represent a different crest: the red, gold and blue Knights of Columbus councils from both St. Finbar and Most Precious Blood in Bath Beach.

Christ Is Risen Art Contest

The Tablet, with the generous collaboration of the Archbishop John Hughes Knights of Columbus Council No. 481, invited youth from Brooklyn and Queens to participate in the annual “Christ Is Risen Easter Art Contest.”

Knights, Clergy Show Unity With Persecuted Christians

In the cultural and legal center of Brooklyn, atop of Brooklyn Borough Hall’s front steps, a little over a dozen lay Catholics accompanied by several priests stood unashamed showing their unity with their brothers and sisters in baptism suffering in the Middle East and in Africa.
