The Brooklyn Irish-American Parade began its St. Patrick’s Parade festivities with Mass celebrated by Auxiliary Bishop James Massa at Holy Name Church, Park Slope. Following a memorial tribute to the first responders of 9/11, the march stepped off through the streets of the community led by Grand Marshal Mary Hogan, national president of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians.
