The social issue of abortions matter the most to me. I feel that abortions take the life from an innocent human being. I also feel that abortions should be illegal, especially ones that occur close to term. People say that fetuses are not human beings, but I believe they are wrong.

The one social issue that matters the most to me is Black Lives Matter. My stepfather and younger sister are black and of course they matter so much to me. Also, women’s rights matter a lot to me considering I am a young woman who goes to an all-girls high school. It inspires me to see so many strong women come together and fight for one another.
