Sister Mary Josephine Keyes, C.S.J., formerly Sister Raymond de Sales, died on Aug. 28 at Maria Regina Residence in Brentwood, L.I. A member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Brentwood for 67 years, she entered the congregation in 1952 from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Queens. Her ministries in the Diocese of Brooklyn included the following: Visitation, Brooklyn, 1954-1956; St. Joseph, Brooklyn, 1956-60; St. John the Evangelist, Brooklyn, 1960-65; Nativity of Our Blessed Lord, Brooklyn, 1965-68; Immaculate Conception, Brooklyn, 1974-79; Immaculate Heart of Mary, Brooklyn, 1979-83; Queen of Peace, Kew Gardens, 1984-86; and St. Ann, Flushing, 1986-97. She also served at parishes on Long Island. Her funeral Mass was offered at Maria Regina Chapel, Brentwood. Burial followed in Calvary Cemetery there.
