Dear Editor: On Feb. 3, a blustery Saturday morning, almost 50 of us ladies from Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island gathered together at American Martyrs in Bayside for a mini-retreat led by Sister Ave Clark, O.P.

We had come by bus and car to celebrate the “Spirit of Women…Graces Galore” and learn how in this wonderful warm and loving multi-cultural group relationship is the heart of who we are and who we are becoming and to let the stars of Divine Love and Grace shine through to others (and the bagels were also great).
