Dear Editor: As my husband and I were at Mass on vacation in Puerto Rico, we received a message that Eileen Feeney had passed away that morning at the age of 96.

Her devoted son, Dennis, held her hand as her soul was lifted to Heaven, where husband Harry awaited her with Jesus and Mary. There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that she went there directly.

Her many friends from Our Lady of the Angelus, where she was a lector, will miss her, to say nothing of her children, many grandchildren, and great grandchildren!

She was a blessing and inspiration to us all. When I get “old” I want to be just like her.
