Faculty and students from Archbishop Molloy H.S., Briarwood, traveled on a mission trip to Nicaragua over the February break. Part of the St. Marcellin Champagnat Society, the group went to work at Mustard Seed Community facilities in Managua and Diriamba. Above, members are pictured at Kennedy Airport as they embark on their international mission of outreach. They spent the week doing manual labor around the property and spending time with special-needs children. Along with a desire to make a difference, they brought much-needed items such as T-shirts, toiletries, batteries and medical supplies. Fun and games were also part of the plan with stickers, bubbles and soccer balls. The language barrier was a non-issue as love is a universal tongue!
