Only In Print: Students Show Support and ‘Respect’ For Local NYPD Cops With Sugary Treat

BENSONHURST — Two St. Ephrem Catholic Academy students had a special delivery for cops at the 62nd Precinct on a recent afternoon — several boxes of Krispy Kreme glazed donuts — giving them to the officers as a heartfelt gesture of respect. The sweet treats, brought to the precinct’s Bath Avenue stationhouse by fifth-grader Sofia Cascio and fourth-grader Victoria DiSpirito.
