Auxiliary Bishop Paul R. Sanchez rededicated the newly renovated lower church of St. Anthony-St. Alphonsus, Greenpoint, March 21 at 5:30 p.m. Mass. Msgrs. Michael Reid and Joseph Calise joined Fathers Kavungal Davy, C.M.I., pastor, and Jilson George, C.M.I., parochial vicar, to celebrate the rededication. Deacon Felix Mejia was the master of ceremonies. Rick Kenny, parish trustee, and many parishioners participated in the Mass.

The renovations included some fresh paint, a refinished wall, vinyl tiles, new wooden panels for the sanctuary, restained pews, painted statues and the installation of a new altar and new church doors.
