The annual Scholarship Fund Dinner conducted Oct. 12 by the Futures in Education Foundation at the Waldorf-Astoria in Manhattan netted more than $1.5 million to assist children in Catholic schools in Brooklyn and Queens. This year’s event honored CNBC news anchor Maria Bartiromo, a graduate of St. Bernadette’s School, Dyker Heights, and Fontbonne Hall, Bay Ridge.
