Catholic Vote Mattered

Dear Editor: The legally elected President is Donald Trump. Sour grapes is not justification for accusatory rhetoric against Trump, his supporters, Republicans and Conservatives.

Trump voters are not racists, sexists, homophobes and xenophobes (as alleged by these Democratic losers), but by-and-large, voted Trump for economic expectations, and dislike for Hillary Clinton personally and politically.

Would a Republican vote for an old-school Liberal Democrat, Hillary, whose confused mind once supported Barry Goldwater, until her Yale education, produced a Liberal, as William F. Buckley Jr. prophesied in his tome, “God and Man at Yale”?

When Hillary’s top campaign staffers mocked Roman Catholics as “Thomases,” an insult upon the Doctoris Angelici, St. Thomas Aquinas, how would you expect 54% of Catholic voters not to vote for pro-life Donald Trump? And we will vote out Mayor de Blasio, Governor Andrew Cuomo, and any other politician who besmirches the Roman Catholic Church: its teachings and believers, both clergy and lay.

  1. Plese enlighten me as to where Rudy Giuliani fits into this picture. Certainly he does not represent the teachings of the Catholic Church as evidenced by his marital status and rhetoric. Or is he exonerated because he is a cheer leader for Donald Trump?
