CONEY ISLAND — Catholic Schools Night returns tonight, June 22, at Maimonides Park, home of the Brooklyn Cyclones. The event is sponsored by the Diocese of Brooklyn and DeSales Media Group, the parent company of The Tablet.
Prior to the Cyclones taking the field against the Jersey Shore BlueClaws at 6:30 p.m., this year’s valedictorians and salutatorians from the Diocese of Brooklyn’s Catholic academies and parish schools will be honored. The students will be presented with a medal and commemorative t-shirt during a pre-game ceremony that begins at 6 p.m.
Tickets to Catholic Schools Night are still available online, over the phone (718-37-BKLYN), and at the Maimonides Park box office (1904 Surf Avenue). Enter the code “CATHOLIC” online for a special offer to receive a game ticket and an Ed Wilkinson bobblehead.
