Father Robert A Blauvelt, a former pastor of St. Stanislaus Kostka, Maspeth, who served in many parishes in the Diocese of Brooklyn, died on June 19. He was 89.

Sister Mary Donald Kelly, R.S.M., a member of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas Mid-Atlantic Community for 72 years, died on April 5 at Maria Regina Residence, Brentwood. She was 90.

Sister Helen Butler, O.P., a member of the Sisters of St. Dominic of Amityville for 70 years, died at her order’s motherhouse in Amityville on April 28. She was 88.

Sister Therese Ezelius, O.P., a longtime teacher and religious education director in Brooklyn and Long Island and a member of the Sisters of St. Dominic of Amityville for 57 years, died on May 17 at the sisters’ motherhouse in Amityville. She was 75.

Msgr. Matthew F. Foley, a retired priest of the diocese, died May 24 at Bishop Mugavero Residence, Douglaston. He was 88.

Robert Lockwood, former president of Our Sunday Visitor, longtime columnist for OSV Newsweekly and former director of communications for the Pittsburgh Diocese, died March 4 at his home in Fort Wayne, Ind., after suffering from a variety of illnesses. He was 69.

Sister Maureen Judge, O.P., a member of the Sisters of St. Dominic Amityville, L.I. for 58 years, died suddenly  April 13. She was 76.

Sister Ann Marie Lubisic, O.P., a member of the Sisters of St. Dominic Amityville, L.I. for 63 years, died April 12. She was 83.

Sister Mary Ellen Bollman, O.P., 91, a member of the Sisters of St. Dominic Amityville, L.I. for 58 years, died April 9. She was 77 years old.
