The Tablet All-Scholastic Team 2016
THE CLASS OF 2016 includes more than 2,700 graduates from 18 Catholic high schools in Brooklyn and Queens.
Each year, The Tablet recognizes one outstanding graduate from each school as a way of saluting that year’s entire class. The scholars profiled here are young women and men who have distinguished themselves through academic achievement, Christian leadership and community involvement.
Their schools have recommended them for this honor based upon these qualities as well as their demonstrations of integrity and school spirit.

Christ the King’s National Honor Society collected close to 200 pairs of shoes to benefit Soles4Souls.
St. Saviour’s Gaelic Society Wins Award
Students at St. Saviour’s H.S., Park Slope, were awarded with the title of “Best School Unit” at the 2016 Irish American Parade in Manhattan. They received the recognition during a May 21 ceremony at the annual Donegal Hill Gathering and Tara Festival at Holy Name parish’s Shepherd’s Hall.
