Model, actress, film and television star, and proud mother of three, Jennifer O’Neill will partaiciipate in the Ninth Annual Walk for Life West Coast in San Francisco on Saturday, Jan. 26.
The day begins with a 9:30 a.m. Mass at San Francisco’s St. Mary’s Cathedral. The Walk for Life Rally begins at 12:30 p.m. at the city’s Civic Center Plaza, followed by the Walk for Life down Market St., at 1:30 p.m.
O’Neill, who seemed to “have it all,” suffered from severe depression due to an abortion she had in her early 20s. After years of suffering, she found hope and healing through her faith in Jesus.
She is now the national spokeswoman for the Silent No More Awareness Campaign, whereby Christians make the public aware of the devastation abortion brings to women and men. The campaign seeks to expose and heal the secrecy and silence surrounding the emotional and physical pain of abortion.
O’Neill will join others in the Silent No More rally prior to the Walk for Life West Coast.
O’Neill explains, “There has never been a more critical time to support the pro-life movement, protect the rights of the unborn, and make known the truth about the devastating aftermath of abortion not only for the babies, but for women and families affected by such unimaginable loss.”
O’Neill recently had a starring role in the pro-life film, Doonby, which was screened at the Faith Film Festival sponsored by NET-TV in Brooklyn.
Founded in 2005 by a group of San Francisco Bay Area residents, the Walk for Life West Coast’s mission is to change the perceptions of a society that thinks abortion is an answer.
