Auxiliary Bishop Paul Sanchez led the traditional Good Friday procession conducted by the parishes in Bensonhurst. St. Mary Mother of Jesus was the host parish. Following a one-mile walk through the neighborhood, about 2,000 people gathered outside St. Mary Mother of Jesus Church for prayers and a blessing with the relic of the true cross.
