March 27, 2021 marks one year since Father Jorge Ortiz-Garay, a Mexican-born Brooklyn pastor, became the first priest in the United States to die as a result of COVID-19.

Father Ortiz-Garay’s family and friends will get together for a Mass in Mexico City on the first anniversary of his death, March 27.
