As The Tablet went to press on April 30, it was learned that Father Thomas Catania, parochial vicar at Holy Child Jesus parish, Richmond Hill, had died.

In 2012, Father Catania won first place at the Catholic Press Association’s competition for Best Scriptures Columnist for his writings in The Tablet.
