Abraham Lincoln. He was a very influential president for that era. His presidency was mainly used towards ending slavery. He especially kept it true when the country fought the Civil War.

Ghandi. He led by example on how to stage a non-violent protest. Other Civil Rights leaders such as Martin Luther King Jr. used Ghandi’s non- violent tactic s to stage the Montgomery bus protest.
