Youth Views: Reflect Upon Praying for the Conversion of Sinners

Reflect upon the following:

“The loss of each soul plunges Me into mortal sadness. You always console Me when you pray for sinners. The prayer most pleasing to Me is prayer for the conversion of sinners. Know, my daughter, that this prayer is always heard and answered.” -Words that Jesus spoke to St. Faustina as recorded in her diary

This quote shows to me the loving mercy of our God. It shows me that God cares, and when we sin, we have hope for forgiveness once we pray for it. Jesus cares for us and has unconditional love for us and doesn’t want to lose anyone to sin.

This quote means that every time someone sins or turns against God, it saddens Him. Jesus is telling St. Faustina that the prayer that is most pleasing to Him is the prayer for sinners to turn back to God.

To me this quote means that St. Faustina really wanted the sinners to be forgiven, and convert to Christianity. Jesus finds comfort in watching her pray for the sinners.

I think this quote is just another example of how God helps everyone. He said that when we pray, our prayers are answered.
