Year of St. Joseph Wraps With Fervor to Keep Pursuing His Examples

PROSPECT HEIGHTS — Growing up in Port au Prince, Haiti, Michele Boucher did not know St. Joseph had  special intercessory roles such as “hope of the sick” and “patron of the afflicted.”

Now that she knows, Boucher, the mother of three daughters in Brooklyn, prays to St. Joseph seeking intercession for her 16-year-old Elisabeth, who has cerebral palsy
