With October being National Breast Cancer Awareness month, the Xaverian H.S., Bay Ridge, football teams raised $2,500 on Oct. 19 to support research efforts at the Breast Cancer Prevention Institute in Somerville, N.J. Members of the varsity and junior varsity teams accented the traditional Clipper blue and gold uniforms with pink socks and belts to show support for breast cancer research.
