Pope Francis will make his first pastoral visit to the continent of Africa, Nov. 25-30. On Nov. 29 and 30, he is scheduled to visit the Central African Republic. While that country has been the site of much civil strife and security may be an issue, the Holy Father is said to be eager to maintain the planned schedule. Uganda is the third country that the pope will visit.
Because of the time difference, NET-TV will tape the major activities of the papal trip and broadcast them during the day.
