Dear Editor: One article in The Tablet (Nov. 19) mentions that “many in the African-American community fear a rollback of the many advances made in recent years.”

I don’t recall any mention by candidate Trump to do anything even remotely close to that unwarranted fear. What I got from his campaign was two major promises: keep us safe and improve our economy.
