Ticket Give-Away for Pope Francis Central Park Procession

On Sept. 25, Pope Francis will travel through part of Central Park, along the West Drive, before he celebrates Mass at Madison Square Garden, and thousands of New York residents can apply for tickets to watch the pope’s procession.

Tickets for residents interested in lining up along the pope’s route will be given away to NY residents via an online contest. Go to http://www1.nyc.gov/nyc-resources/service/5240/pope-francis-visit-ticket-giveaway to apply for up to two tickets. Residents can also call 311 or 212-NEW-YORK between Sept. 3 and Sept. 7. Ticket winners will be selected at random by the city on Sept. 10.

The Central Park Papal Procession will take place on Friday, Sept. 25 on Central Park’s West Drive between 72nd and 60th Street. Guests must enter via assigned security gate (listed on ticket) beginning at 12 p.m. All guests must be at their assigned gate no later than 3:30 p.m. A ticket and valid ID is required for entrance.
