National Eucharistic Congress Closes After Five Days Filled With ‘Faith and Love’

For Diego and Jenny Oviedo, knowing that it was the first event of its kind in over 80 years, it was paramount that they make it to the 10th National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis. From their first step in the Expo Center, the Ozone Park couple knew the money and time put into the five-day revival was worth it, and were elated to grow in their understanding of Jesus in the Eucharist.

Eucharistic Revival Playbook Offers Direction, Ideas For Parish Year

Parish leaders seeking guidance for the National Eucharistic Revival’s upcoming parish year now have a 24-page resource to assist their discernment. The “Leader’s Playbook,” released May 1, helps parishes answer the question “what are we being asked to do?” through four “invitations” for the Year of Parish Revival, which begins on the solemnity of Corpus Christi June 11.

New Director of Eucharistic Congress Shares His Vision

The newly appointed executive director of the 2024 National Eucharistic Congress, Tim Glemkowski, said he envisions the event as a powerful moment of “unity and communion as a Church, that leads to a renewed mission in a public witness,” which changes lives and hearts, and propels the Church into the future.
