Leary Left Lasting Legacy at St. Francis Prep

Tim Leary, who coached boys’ varsity basketball for 43 years at St. Francis Prep, Fresh Meadows, died Feb. 13 at the age of 73 after a nearly yearlong battle with gallbladder cancer.

Muslim students from a foreign-exchange program in Indonesia spent a day at St. Francis Prep H.S., Fresh Meadows, and were able to share cultural, personal and academic experiences with Prep students.
