When Our Lady of Guadalupe (OLG) School opens as Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Academy in September, 2016, parents and students will still find outstanding programs for students ranging from age three to grade eight.

Sister Mary Margaret Wainman, O.P., (formerly Sister Maureen Maeve) a Sister of St. Dominic, Amityville, L.I., who ministered as a teacher and nurse in the U.S. and Puerto Rico for 73 years, died Nov. 7.

Local Schools Honored For Donations to The Missions

St. Bernadette’s School in Dyker Heights and St. Sebastian’s School in Woodside were among the schools honored on Mission Sunday at a Mass celebrated by Auxiliary Bishop Raymond Chappetto at St. James Cathedral-Basilica, Downtown Brooklyn.
