McClancy High School is leveling up athletics with its new CHSAA-sanctioned esports team — nine student-athletes competing in strategy-driven games like “Marvel Rivals” and “Overwatch.” With custom-built computers, rigorous practice, and real teamwork, these Crusaders are proving that gaming takes skill, discipline, and competitive spirit just like any other sport.
