Queens Parishioners Fundraise to Help Croatians Affected by Earthquake

On Dec. 29, 2020, a 6.4-magnitude earthquake struck Petrinja, Croatia, and surrounding areas — killing seven people, injuring at least 26, and damaging homes, churches, and other buildings. The earthquake was reported as one of the country’s strongest in history and parishioners from Most Precious Blood Church wanted to offer their support.

Seven Diocesan Priests Mark Golden Jubilees

Seven priests of the Brooklyn Diocese are celebrating the 50th anniversary of their ordination as priests. Six of them were ordained on June 1, 1968 by Auxiliary Bishop John J. Boardman at St. James Pro-Cathedral in Downtown Brooklyn.

Passion in Long Island City

Hundreds of people took part in the Good Friday procession organized by Most Precious Blood Church, Long Island City. Thirty-eight men carried six statues representing various scenes from the passion of Christ.
