The Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) of Brooklyn and Queens held its third annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony May 20 at the Immaculate Conception Center, Douglaston.

The Third Annual Bishop Ignatius A. Catanello Memorial Dinner-Dance will be held on Saturday, March 12, at Immaculate Conception Pastoral Center, Douglaston. It will begin with Mass at 6 p.m. in the chapel.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Father John H. Wilkinson, 82, a senior priest of the diocese, was celebrated Nov. 30 in the chapel at Immaculate Conception Center, Douglaston. He died Nov. 23 in Venice, Florida, where he was living in retirement.
The eighth annual Kathie and Christopher Lawler Dinner-Dance was held on Saturday, Nov. 21 at the Immaculate Conception Center, Douglaston. This year’s event raised $65,000 for the Lawler Extraordinary Needs Fund for Senior Priests which, to date, has raised $600,000 to assist senior priests in the diocese.
“This is a ministry that is not done alone; it is done in community with our bishop, our priests and our brother deacons,” Deacon Gonzales said. “This is how we keep the deacon family together.”
Three hundred people attended the Clergy Convocation at Immaculate conception Center, Douglaston, sponsored by the Office of Priestly Life and Ministry and Diaconate Office.
Over 600 young people came out for a day of prayer, worship, reflection, music and Mass.
