Brie McDonnell is the boys’ junior varsity basketball head coach at Brooklyn Technical H.S., Fort Greene. Now in her third season, she has built the program into one of the top teams in the Brooklyn II division of the Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL).

Prep Celebrates Legacy of Longtime Hoops Coach
Tim Leary recently announced that this would be his final season coaching at the Prep. He is set to retire as the winningest coach in St. Francis Prep history as well as the active wins leader among Brooklyn/Queens CHSAA boys’ hoops coaches.

Xaverian Girls’ Hoops Off to Historic Start
The Xaverian girls’ hoops team is off to an unbelievable start in the first season in program history. The team won its first 20 games and has already wrapped up the No. 1 seed in the playoffs.

St. Edmund’s Inducts New Hall of Famers
The St. Edmund Prep H.S., Sheepshead Bay, community gathered Jan. 26 at El Caribe Country Club Caterers in Mill Basin to induct the Class of 2017 of its Athletic Hall of Fame.
