NET-TV Teams With Telemater to Broadcast Mass in Italian
In collaboration with NET-TV, the cable channel of the Brooklyn Diocese, Telemater will broadcast Mass in Italian from Rome, beginning on Sunday, June 5, at noon.

A new Internet portal seeks to build a community of prayer by encouraging people to share their prayer intentions with local religious and pray for one another online. Prayer intentions can be submitted on the diocesan website by going to: dioceseofbrooklyn.org/prayforme/.

Communicating the Message of Pentecost
My dear brothers and sisters in the Lord, Each year, DeSales Media Group sponsors a celebration of World Communications Day with a conference inviting members of the Diocese to explore how they can become better communicators of their faith. This year, this day coincides with the celebration of Pentecost where the initial communication of faith was made by the Holy Spirit who set the Apostles forth.

The DeSales Media Group hosted its 19th annual golf classic Aug. 14 at North Hills Country Club in Manhasset, L.I., and all the proceeds will benefit Cristo Rey Brooklyn H.S.

One Busy Month Leads to Another

Then, we moved right into Holy Week and Easter coverage. Finally, there was the canonization of the two 20th-century popes.
