NET-TV Teams With Telemater to Broadcast Mass in Italian

In collaboration with NET-TV, the cable channel of the Brooklyn Diocese, Telemater will broadcast Mass in Italian from Rome, beginning on Sunday, June 5, at noon.

Telemater also will broadcast in Italian other interesting events to the Italian community on NET every Saturday at noon.

Telemater, the new Catholic Italian television in America, hopes to fill the need to communicate faith in Italian to those who are hungry for faith in the present and to future generations, thereby allowing the New Evangelization of the Catholic Church to come into homes in a new and dynamic way.

Telemater, also known as the Blessed Mother’s television, considers itself to be a work of Mother Mary, who calls the faithful to prayer, reconciliation and love toward Jesus Christ and the Church.

Telemater is the first Italian Catholic TV in America which presents the Catechism of the Catholic Church and catechesis, in Italian, in communion with the Church’s magisterium in a way that is simple to understand and totally Catholic.

NET TV, a division of the DeSales Media Group, can be seen on Time Warner Cable, Ch. 97; Cablevision Ch. 30; Verizon FIOS Ch. 48 and streams live online at http://netny.tv/watch-now/
