Tablet TALK: Flushing Girl Scouts Earn Bronze Award

Congratulations to the fifth-grade Girl Scouts from Troop No. 4688 at St. Kevin parish, Flushing, who just earned their Bronze Award for collecting donations to benefit The Bridge to Life, a pro-life ministry based in Flushing. It is the third highest award a Girl Scout can earn.

St. Columba Church in Marine Park invites Tablet TALK readers to join the parish family for a free Christmas Concert, Dec. 19 after the 5 p.m. Mass.
Traditional hymns and modern carols will be sung by the parish choir and school of music, under the direction of Charles Gelo, organist and music minister. Attendees are welcome to sing along.

Over 150 people enjoyed a great day on the greens when St. Edmund Prep H.S., Sheepshead Bay, held its annual Golf and Tennis Outing at Inwood Country Club this fall. The competition was friendly and many guests won prizes. Major sponsors of the event include Jim Wilkens from Duffy & Duffy PLLC, John Massini from MMI Mechanical and St. Francis College.
