Josephites Celebrate Special Anniversaries
On the feast of the Blessed Mother’s birthday, two Sisters of St. Joseph celebrated their anniversaries as religious sisters at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary parish, Ozone Park, where they reside. Sister Kathleen Nawrath, C.S.J., second from right, requested the Mass, which was celebrated by Father Paul Palmiotto, pastor, in honor of the two jubilarians – Sister Evelyn Clemmer, C.S.J, far left, who marked 60 years, and Sister Grace Mercado, C.S.J., far right, who is celebrating 50 years.
