St. Kevin’s parish, Flushing, Youth Guild will be hosting its annual baseball clinic featuring former professional baseball players to ring in the 2017 baseball season. The clinic takes place in the school gymnasium on Saturday, March 25.
The first session is for grades nursery through three and begins at 2 p.m., and the second session is for grades four through eight and begins at 3 p.m.
Former New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Jesse Barfield and former Yankees designated hitter Ron Blomberg – the first DH in MLB history – will be teaching baseball skills at the clinic. The players will also be signing autographs for clinic attendees.
