St. John’s University, Jamaica, and the Red Storm men’s and women’s basketball teams will join with the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation Sept. 28 for the third annual Dribble for the Cure.
The mission is to harness the energy of the college basketball teams in an effort to galvanize youth and the community in the fight against pediatric cancer.
Participants can meet men’s coach Steve Lavin, a prostate cancer survivor, and women’s coach Joe Tartamella.
The festivities will feature a ceremonial one-mile dribble-walk around the campus.
