Sister Patricia Tobin, S.C., a Sister of Charity-Halifax for 65 years, died on Nov. 1 at New York University Langone Hospital in Sunset Park. She was 84.

Born in Dorchester, Mass., Sister Patricia spent most of her ministry serving in the Diocese of Brooklyn. She taught at Our Lady of Angels, Bay Ridge, 1956-63; Our Lady of Cenacle, Richmond Hill, 1963-68; and Resurrection-Ascension, Rego Park, 1968-73. She then served at the Conklin Residence in Bay Ridge until 2002.

Her funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of Angels on Nov. 7. A second funeral Mass was offered at Mount Saint Vincent Chapel, Wellesley, Mass., on Nov. 14. Burial was at St. Mary Cemetery in Needham, Mass.
