Sister Eleanor “Alexis” Mac Eachen, F.d.L.S., who spent most of her teaching career at St. Mary Gate of Heaven, Ozone Park, died on Jan. 27 in West Islip, L.I. She was 90.

Sister Alexis also taught at Our Lady of Wisdom, Ozone Park. She had a bachelor’s of science degree in elementary education from St. John’s University, Jamaica, and a master’s from Hunter College, Manhattan.

She entered the Daughters of Wisdom in 1949. In addition to teaching in Queens, she taught in Long Island, Maine, and Virginia.
