Sacred Heart 6th Grade Boys Win Bantam ‘B’ Diocesan Championship

The Sacred Heart, Bayside, sixth grade boys’ basketball bantam ‘B’ division are CYO diocesan champions.
The team finished its season with an undefeated record, both in the regular season and in the playoffs, en route to facing Resurrection Ascension, Rego Park, in the championship game on Sunday, March 16 at Msgr. McClancy M.H.S., East Elmhurst.

The boys of Sacred Heart may have made it look easy, but they played hard in every game against very worthy opponents. While the boys took to the court and dribbled their hearts out, none of this could have happened without strong coaches at the helm.

As much as to the boys of Sacred Heart, a big congratulations and job well done must go out to coaches John Devine and Carl Bayer for their tireless effort and coaching of the team.
