Rocco “Rocky” Summa, 92, died Feb. 3. He was 92.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Feb. 9 at St. Brendan’s Church, Midwood.

A veteran of the U.S. Army who served on Guam during the Second World War, he was a retired member of the New York City Fire Department. He is survived by Joan Flynn, who worked 50 years for the Diocese of Brooklyn at Catholic Charities, the Diocesan Public Information Office, and The Tablet.

Burial was in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, L.I.
