Dear Editor: On Easter Sunday, we renew our Baptismal vows, denouncing Satan, his works and promises. As he captains “The Ship of Fools,” Satan has been using as his crew many of our “Catholic” politicians.

If we do not take over the ship, we will end up on “Donkey Island” harnessed, without freedom and braying to no avail.

Some say, “It’s the economy, stupid!”

St. Matthew says, “What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but suffers the loss of his soul?”

Which loss will be the greater!
