The board of trustees, administration, faculty and staff from Christ the King R.H.S., Middle Village, is pleased to announce that the high school will be awarding over $1,196,000 in academic scholarships and awards to members of our incoming Class of 2019.
This year, Christ the King awarded $722,000 in academic scholarships to the incoming class. The school has also awarded $474,000 through the Christ the King Continuing Education Catholic School Loyalty Program, where students who attended a Catholic elementary school and will continue their Catholic education at Christ the King R.H.S., are to be awarded between $1,500 and $2,000.
“The Board is pleased by the outstanding response we have received from our local feeder schools and would like to congratulate all the parents, principals, faculty and staff for their outstanding job in providing a quality education to all our incoming freshmen,” said Thomas V. Ognibene, chairperson of the scholarship committee. “Christ the King will endeavor to continue that outstanding educational process during the students’ four year experience at Christ the King High School.
“Once again, let me congratulate all of our incoming freshmen, their families, school administration and faculty.”
