SJHS-Thanksgiving-Drive_cmykStudents throughout the diocese serve God’s people utilizing the various gifts God has bestowed upon them. Starting from top: On Saturday, Dec. 6, the chorus from  Bishop Kearney H.S., Bensonhurst, filled the Lands’ End Pop-Up Store in Manhattan with Christmas melodies, much to the delight of shoppers and staff. Directed by the school’s principal, Elizabeth Guglielmo, and accompanied by Mary Greene, the young ladies presented an hour-long performance of traditional and classical pieces. Among those who gathered to hear the girls perform was Angela DeVito, grandmother of a freshman. “This is such a wonderful opportunity for the Kearney students and a real treat for the people in the store,” she said. “ It reflects the quality, well-rounded education that Kearney provides for young women.”… St. Joseph H.S., Downtown Brooklyn organized a food collection for the NYC Food Bank in addition to household goods for Providence House… In St. Albans, young altar servers were installed on Nov. 22, at St. Catherine of Sienna church of Our Lady Of Light parish. At left is Deacon Luis Taylor and at the right is Father Paul Ifeadi, parochial vicar. At front, are the six new altar servers including Dylan Braithwaite.
