PROSPECT HEIGHTS — When it comes to being named valedictorians of their respective Catholic high school graduating classes, Allie Giordano and Victoria Ryan have a lot in common. For both, the mystery was soon cleared up when they were told they would be valedictorians.

Being named valedictorian is a unique honor both girls share. But something else they both shared was….
