Only in Print: Bishop Caggiano Named Chairman of Catholic Relief Services | December 7, 2019

WINSOR TERRACE — Bishop Frank Caggiano of the Diocese of Bridgeport, Conn. — who is originally from Brooklyn — was named chairman of Catholic Relief Services, the arm of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops that provides global humanitarian aid.

Bishop Caggiano replaced Maronite Bishop Gregory J. Mansour, who heads the Eparchy of St. Maron, a Brooklyn-based Maronite diocese that covers the eastern half of the country. Bishop Mansour had served as CRS chairman since November
2016.
