Sister Mary Frances Cervone, P.V.M.I., the longest living member of the Parish Visitors of Mary Immaculate, died April 13 in Monroe, N.Y. She was 102.

Born in Manhattan, she was raised in Brooklyn where she attended public grade schools and New Utrecht H.S., Bensonhurst.

She was a member of pioneer Sisters who helped establish and taught in a city-wide religious education program, and did family visitation.

She also served in Scranton, Pa., Chicago, Ill., and several towns in upstate New York.

She did missionary work for a short time in Nigeria, as well as served as superior at the Order’s convent in Brooklyn.

Burial was in Assumption Cemetery, Marycrest Convent, Monroe, N.Y.
